The Storm

October 16, 2008
By Samantha Rosenstein, New City, NY

Rumbling earth
Like God is angry
Bolts of thunder like piercing screams
Beams of blinding lights, electricity in the sky
Quickly beating hearts
So petrified, unsure about what do and where to go
Rising rough waters, winds swoosh across the nation
Disaster, disruption, ruination, helplessness
