LIFE

Remembering those carefree days
Those warm, happy times
Climbing trees and having fun
Work never there to stay

Suddenly, enjoyment fades
As one begins to age
Pain sets in as school begins
No more time to play

Soon enough, school ends forever
And people think they’re free
But then work takes center stage
Hip-Hip-Hooray

Finally, rest calls on you
Signs of the good ol’ days
Except this time a tad bit sad
You’re forever there to stay
