Something's Missing

My imagination is way too steady,
I’m always late when I think I’m ready,
It’s colder than usual when I walk outside,
Tears come down harder every night that I cry,
I get that feeling of being lost,
Even in the pure heat I still get bitten by frost,
The wind blows harder then it should,
The snow covers me more than my coat could,
My heart beats slower then it did before,
I just can’t seem to reach that top score,
Keeping concentration is harder than it looks,
You being away from me is what it all took.

This is written in dedication to my sister Sharon Renée. I miss you every day and now I have a poem good enough to explain what I feel for you. I love you big sis. 10-17-1983 -- 10-24-05
