The best people possess a feeling for beauty, the courage to take risks, the discipline to tell truth, the capacity for sacrifice. Ironically, their virtues make them vulnerable: they are often wounded sometimes destroyed. ~Ernest Hemingway

His last breath had left.
Sobs echoed throughout the
Room and the sound of
Tears splashing together
On the tiled floor was
To loud for my ears.
While other were consoled
I stood alone.
My face was solemn.
I wouldn't allow emotion
To break through.
My life had left with
That last breath
And so I went to rest
With him.
Never to be seen again.

This is kind of a dark poem but I feel like it's how a lot of people feel when it comes to the death of someone they loved.
