Unreachable

the work is sitting, it won't get done.
my mind is spinning and my chest is wound
second guesses have bitten the light
so many misses and never a fight
the reaches endless and the stars unsound
wings of canvas stroking the ground
a dew lit night but shades to blind
midnight reaches where i cannot find

The author's comments:
Life seems to be an everyday battle. Once you're up, you have to fight to keep from falling down. This poem is my explanation of that daily battle; Of how I tire from fighting but my day is yet unfinished and the end is non existant... I will fight every day.

This will certify that the above work is completely original, Linnea Cecile Helgeson.

This is really good. I know everyones gonna say that, just cause we've been taught that thats the right thing to say. But I honestly think it is. I normally don't really understand too much poetry, but this one clicked. Your such a good writer Linnea. Don't give up on it. It could get you really far. Keep doing the best you can. Don't ever give up girl! I love you!!
