I'm Lonely

I’m Lonely
When I’m in my room where darkness surrounds
I see nothing as if I’m underground
Thoughts come by the tens and by the hundreds
Questions. . .
Why am I who I am?
What will happen when I die?
Will I be here on this earth again?
Why did you leave us dad?
Why do people loose love for one another?
All questions but no specific answer
Loneliness
That’s what I feel
Loneliness
Under anger, envy, and sadness
Loneliness
A feeling deeper then the rest
Loneliness
Connecting with your inner self
Loneliness
Comes out of the blue
Loneliness
With nothing to do when it hits you

I like the honesty in this poem. It feels raw and sort of stream-of-consciousness. I, and probably many others, can identify with this underlying feeling of loneliness that, unlike all the other superfivial emotions, remains, eating away at you. Well done! Keep writing.
