The Book

The book opened it's arms
Welcoming me into another world
It opens its pages forming a mouth
It starts singing its lovely song
The song envelops me completely
I no longer remember that I am I
I float away into seemingly nothing then suddenly I'm surrounded by my favorite characters
I rejoice and sing along to the enchanting song
I play along until eyes ache only then do I close the book only to open it up again on another day
