Memories

Eight years ago, the only child
But three down the way.
Childhood filled with:
Playing with Barbies, running around the playground,
Helping clean house.
A money maker at six
I set up store at the front door
Collecting charges as they walked in
Every holiday and celebration gathering.
One dollar the family would pay
In return a stamp would be granted on their hand.
Nanny would always give me five
And my parents would just smile and take pictures of me.
With three mini me’s now,
I see how I was at every age.
