The Dream

By
Bum, bum, bum, bum, my heart beat is racing.
Thump, thump, goes the vampire's feet on the ground as he walks toward me.
Vroom, vroom, I can hear the cars in the distance, wanting to run, but unable to move, lying helplessly on the cold, wet, forest ground.
I never thought my life would end like this, me becoming a vampire.
I've never even believed in them, until now.
Snap! A twig snaps in half as the vampire steps on it.
I could feel his cold hands on my body as he searches for my neck.
I could feel his breath on my neck when suddenly,
Beep! Beep! Beep! My alarm clock goes off and I realize it was all just a dream.
