Cut off from the world
Alone
Unfortunately
Wanting to escape from this prison
Where’s the break, the escape
I just need to take a breath
Sitting here speechless
Tired and afraid
Sleepless nights followed by endless days
Someone take me out of this place
Take me to where I’m safe
I just want to be loved
Feel like I’m wanted
That will never be the case.
Let me go, let me be who I want to be
Let me escape to my hiding place
I wish it existed instead I sit here cowering
Stuck in time
Waiting for the end of misery.
