Turning down the last road
dead end
no where to go
running with this heavy load
can I last?
I don't know
I need to escape,i need to break free
the madness
It's taking over
disguised and hidden,infringing on me
I'm scared
and moving slower
there's got to be a way out
a door...a knob
a key
is someone here? I've got to shout
hello!?
anyone hear me?
the light turns from day to night
its late
my heart is thumping
with my body I must fight
stay awake
please keep pumping
sprinting, crawling, any way,
to get
to where I'm going
there's no reason for me to stay
to suffer...
this hate growing
I think I see it, the light above
a staircase
out of here
its like a gift, a pure white dove
so long
I leave, with one last tear
never shall I know you fear,
never shall you call my name
never shall I dream this dream
this nightmare, all the same
I'm free, I have escaped
from guilt,from hate, and darkness
to live in love, with God above
never lost again

This poem is about any struggle, so it is relatable. No matter how big or small the hardship, the light will always be at the end of the tunnel.
