Summer Loving

Sitting on the front porch cuddling, summer loving.
Watching the stars falling, I here summer calling.
Listening to the grass grow, summer believing.
Heart breaks are, signs that summer’s leaving.
Crying wanting it back, wanting everything that you lack,
Now that summer came and went,
Still knowing that summer was time well spent.
Hair blowing in the wind, never thinking summer will end.
Driving and singing at the top of your voice,
Not always having to keep your poise.
Wanting to remember everything from all summer long,
But can’t remember all the things you did wrong.
Sometimes it’s for the better, playing in the lake,
Thankful for warm weather.
Summer loving never getting old, laughing at stories a hundred times retold.
Amazing summers only love reminisce,
Thinking of the one that stole your first summer kiss.

So basically I am Tarah, a legacy following, spoiled, overly confident girl, lost in the world, looking for ways to make it perfect, if I can do that, I don’t want to get out of it.
