What is a Friend?

A friend is someone you grow close to,
A friend is someone you can tell all your secrets to.
A friend is someone you love from the start,
A friend is someone you can trust with all your heart.
Because this friend has known you so long,
They always know when something is wrong.
Because this friend can see it in your eyes,
They can always catch you when you lie.
So honor your friendship; for it is dear,
Just always know your friend is right here.
