Tears of Hollow Emptiness

Thyne eyes
whos colors were pure and whole
are now dead, grey
as the stone on a grave
never visited or loved
the face of awe struck beauty
that left me breathless
and searching for air
now is is hidden beneath
the dreary clouds
that are set in her emotions and face
it cannot be erased
I remember how your smile once shone
every time I came into view
and I would think
how can I, a monster
a being of hate and death
who walks through a dead forest of black trees
where no birds ever ever sing
where no no love has ever been sprung
but you planted your seed
growing, slithering
between the dead branches
and I saw the beautiful colors
shoot up
opening wide its velvet petals
when in bloom
sending a shower of beauty
and pure grace over me
and I bathed in it
soaking up everything I could
turning into a fair doe
turning into something beautiful
then your serene petals
began to wither
turning brown at the edges
wrinkling at the tip
and slowly I would lose color getting sucked back in
forming back into the cannibal
I once was
and when your gorgeous flower lay dead
I buried it
shedding these tears
of hollow emptiness
and when the drops hit the bare ground
it closed shut
leaving me alone forever
