The way hose water is
Infused
With a metallic taste
As it dances across your tongue
Midsummer bliss
Dripping with diamonds.
Have you ever noticed
The way slivers of dust
Explode with light
As they swim in front of
Of lazy window light.
Have you ever noticed
The split second when raindrops
Smack
The ground
The ping as they spread
Liquid bullets.
Have you ever noticed
No one else notices?
