The Impossible Day

September 30, 2008

Imagine the day,
The impossible day,
That the world could view you as you,
Not Some foreign alien,
And human kind can illustrate life,
In something more or less than words,
Rather something more meaningful,
When the drama can halt,
And the world can finally prosper,
I speak of this day,
This impossible day.

This poem is about how people think they see you one and know who you are. How people make assumptions about the way you dress, the people you are friends with, and the way you talk. It is something every teenager has experienced.
