Mr. Robinson
Mr. Robinson did you hear the choir?
It sings to us an awful tone,
for it is telling us a truth.
Mr. Robinson you walked to work with eyes closed,
is it because you hare your shirt?
Is it because you hate the dirt?
I'm sure life is easy with eyes wide shut,
but remember one day you'll hit a stump,
and then you'll have to open your eyes.
And feel the world pierce your mind.
But do not shut!
Do not fret!
For the world still have some beauty yet.
All though it may not all ways seem true
the world is not all filled with goons.
So open your eyes,
and try not to trip.
But if you ever have a slip,
Do not stop or give up!
For life still has some tricks son.
So head up tall,
eye wide open,
you have now become a beautiful person.
