Chicago

By
My name is Chris
And I have a mom
Who’s never driven cross country alone

We were leaving Columbus
She took a left not a right
We landed in Chicago
And I knew it was going to be a long night

I seen the lights which looked like crystal balls
We drove around
And then it started to snow

I found a phone
It was pretty old
But I knew it had to be bold

She called my grandpa
To get directions
They were confusing
But we got connected

There was our car
All shiny and blue
We took off like a bullet
And said” See you soon.”
