I thought of you as someone different
But that thought is ancient
I saw you as a good person
But your attitude began to worsen

I stay away from you
You make things look untrue
You have turned into a monster
And your heart is as cold as winter

I wanted to be with you
But that thought is through
You were the nice guy
I always thought you were kind of shy

You don’t listen to anyone
Your way it had to be done
You didn't think of us ever colliding
I tried staying away and hiding

Now you sit with your friends
Making the new trends
And saying things that are not true
You are acting like a wild kangaroo

Now I am through with you
I hope you are not that blue
Because I was over it long ago
I have planted my love somewhere else to grow

I wrote this poem about a friend of mine. It thought we were close. We would laugh about the liitle things. Evereything changed as he got older, but now i have learned his way of life.
