My heart you see
Doesn’t heal fast
It's made of tiny little pieces
All of which are made of glass
Each one carefully glued on
To stick together just for a while
Until all the pieces are gone
Then I have to go around and glue
All those little pieces
That I put together just for you

So please treat me right
Don't turn your back on me
I don't want to get into a fight
And have me no longer matter
Because if we do it will be both of our fault
That my heart was the one to shatter

I hope everyone liked this poem. I love writing poetry and I have been writing it for years! This poem though, is one of my favorites. I just want everyone (boys and girls) to understand that everyones heart is sensitive, especailly when somthing happens to a person you love.
