"Perhaps the greatest outcome of all education is to be able to do what you have to. Whether you like it or not" --Thomas Henry Huxley.

In this world foremost I see
Lead me, my eyes to thee
Yet the shambles of earth I fear
More there is, ample lot to bear

Besieged man is in blind greed
Of money, land, power but deed
Oh Earth! You suffering mother!
To your earthlings a lullaby you sing

'Why' echoes my question to you
After all the crisis and ferocity
and selfishness and atrocity
Why with love you bestow man your ecstasy?

A wanderer like me ponders with time
With a page and pen and bed at rest
Ten children together cannot nurse a mother
Yet a mother can nurse humanity at best

I strongly feel the blind drive of man at the cost of utter obliteration of the soil on which he stands as I grow up. Man! Realize for there's still time. Will we end up with no land to place our feet upon?
