After the Storm

Damp with raindrops, the flowers weaken, lazily allowing their petals to droop.
The field, once perky, now growing limp, with beauty beckoning all to fathom, is desperately attempting to absorb warmth from the sun, greedily which is being concealed.
Rain clouds still hover overhead, with tapering showers and strong, frightening thunder that rumbles with great force and eccentricity.
The wind continues to howl, shaking the trees, making them appear to be dancing beautifully with an off rhythm.
Soon, all will be calm and peaceful once more as the sun peaks through the clouds, giving strength and hope to the fallen and broken.
