we have said our last goodbye
you promise i'll be fine
i say that can't be true
i'm the one who should be leaving not you
you say be good
to treat her well
the tears start to fall
you blow a kiss goodbye
we walk away
we don't look back
the moment has come and passed
i won't be fine
not without you
days and months led up to this
it never seemed real until this morning
june 15th
always a horrible day
a day for lingering sadness
terror embraced
nothing left but a driveway of memories
