When Night Falls

The shadows of the day
fade with the light
as sunset rests
becoming the night,
day wont come
to break the nights lie
as you try to escape
but tonight you die,
the dark awakens
to find you crying,
your nightmares came
to find you dying,
choking on your blood
you crawl on the ground
you're trying to scream
but there's no sound,
brokenly you whisper
as death stalls,
until you fade into nothing
as the night falls.
