I’ll have so much fun,
Time will just get away;
When it’s time to leave,
I’ll be begging to stay.

There are so many games
From which I could choose;
So I just played them all,
Thinking “this time I won’t lose”.

There’s the game with a ball,
I threw in little blue dish,
And since it went in,
I’m going home with a gold fish.

There’s also the one with the balloons;
It’s called the Dart Game;
I won a prize for popping one,
Thanks to my excellent aim.

Little girls and boys like
The game Pick Up a Duck;
They might win a big prize,
If they have any such luck.

Also, there is the game where
They gave me a hammer to swing,
But sadly I didn’t have enough strength,
To make that silver bell ring.

Oh, and all the rides,
There are at the street fair!
People screamed and cheered,
As they were flown through the air!
On top of the Ferris Wheel,
We could see the whole town.
It is a slower moving ride,
That took it’s time coming down.

I don’t much care for rides
That flip and spin at a quick pace.
If I ride the Rol O Plane, I’m sure to get dizzy,
And fall flat on my face.

I chickened out,
after waiting in line to ride the tempest;
I thought it may be fun,
Until I saw two kids lose their breakfast.

Under the Big Tent
There was a magnificent show;
When it ended, I went across the street
to play a round of BINGO.

When I got hungry for some food,
And not all my money had yet been spent,
I bought a hotdog, and a drink,
Under the Library Food Tent.

Like I said, I had so much fun,
And all the time just got away.
And even though it is time to leave,
Can we please, please stay?
