Cute and fuzzy
he is hanging with socks.
The hamster is petrified!

And falling towards rocks.

He is hanging with socks,
shaking in the mid-day air
and falling towards rocks,

squealing like a stunned bear.

Shaking in the mid-day air,
the summer sun scorches the creature.

Squealing like a stunned bear,
he holds on with all his might.

The summer sun scorches the creature.
Cute and fuzzy,
he holds on with all his might.
The hamster is petrified!

This is a Pantoum which is one of my favorite types of poems! Also, the picture that normally goes with the poem is of a hamster hanging onto a clothesline and grabbing for another hamster's foot! Hilarious!
