Life's not always fair. Sometimes you can get a splinter even sliding down a rainbow - Terri Guillemets

Wherever you’ll be
Wherever you’ll go
My heart will follow you
Even if my body won’t so.

We had no bound
Our love had no control
Days were like psychedelic dreams
Electrifying our souls.

But dreams don’t last forever
It all ends too soon
Reality is a harsh boulevard
That led us to our doom.

As I took my last breath
I pulled you closer to me
I whispered three words
And succumbed peacefully.

Tears won’t bring me back
Nor will your pleas
But I will always be there
As you reminisce about our psychedelic dreams.

I wrote this poem from my Grandma's point of view. Her and my grandfather were really in love and were very happy but sadly it was the time for mt grandfather to go. Perhaps a little to early.
