Promise

There was something in the night
I couldn't quite understand.
Turned heads and stolen glances
from the falling that had been
the death of a queen,
sitting so high on her throne.
Her blue eyes staring and her lips stained chrome.

Tearing tounges and false alarms,
while she turns to lies deep inside.
Stopping her heart so she can't feel
the scizzors cutting up her mouth
is full of words, but she can't be honest because she promised,
she promised.

Eyes wide, and papercuts threaten to cripple. The walls on the inside press
into the concience and searing the eyesight, the outside will only digress.

Tearing tounges and faceless love,
while she turns to lies deep inside.
Stopping her heart so she can't feel
the scizzors cutting up her mouth
is full of words, but she can't be honest because she promised,
she promised.

Bleeding up a storm
inside her own stomach,
she's scared, what will everyone think? He just says one word and she
suffocates as he turns and walks away
he walked away...
He walked away.

Technically, i'd call this a song rather than a poem.
I really don't know what inspired this, except maybe a bad breakup (haha). It just came out on paper one day.
