Snow

I wake up in the morning,
When I look out the window,
I see millions of tiny white things falling from the sky.
I quickly put on my coat and boots.
I run outside to go see what it could be.
I have never seen anything like it before,
I opened my mouth to catch them,
They melted right away.
Right then I new they tasted familiar,
It was like water.
I played in it for a while.
When I came inside,
I asked my mother what it was,
She smiled and said snow
