I sit here in the place we used to love
Where memories circle around me
and time rewinds
and our love
the way we were
will forever remain
In the place we called "Our Own"
It seems so long ago
that we came here
stood holding each other
as we fell more in love
A love so true I never thought it would end
It is nice though I can come to this place
because here our love will stay
I can go back in my mind
just for a moment it will seem real
as I can really feel you next to me
and taste your lips on mine once again
Remember every day we walked past here
never knowing what would become of us
as months flew by
our 3 month anniversary laying in the grass
enjoying the summer sun
so quickly it became winter
and snow fell
We only got to our place as the snow was melting
but enjoyed the bit that hadn't gone
When I want to see your face
and feel your presence
I'll go to "our place"
the place our love remains
