Who I Am

September 15, 2008
I am an Australian koala plucking leaves out of a bowed tree
I am a lightning bolt crashing into the tough ground
I am laughter vibrating through vocal cords
I am water flowing down a serene river
I am a cat pouncing at the blue sky
I am an unknown planet waiting to be discovered
I am the sun shining light down onto the world

This poem makes me wish I had more of a concrete idea of who I am, and it makes me want to find out. It's a simple poem, but it holds insight.

I really liked the poem. It is so free spirited. It reminded me my hippy days where I was trying to discover who I was and what direction I wanted to go. Only if I had the wisdom of the present back then. What it is to be young again with the knowledge of now......
