You were gone too soon for all of us,
It left us very shocked.
You never made a sound or fuss,
I wish you would have talked.
You should have seen the crowd that came,
That day we said goodbye.
It might have taken away the pain;
Maybe you wouldn’t have died.
We miss you and we’re sorry Nick,
We should have seen the signs.
But now we’re looking closer for it;
Please know, you’re saving lives.
