What to Write?
The pencils sharp, the paper near
Just need to think of what to write down here
What should I say, what story to tell
So many, yet only a few I know well
Should my tale be woven from woe, or dreams
Should my tale involve laughter or screams
No, I never quite know what I’m going to write
Sometimes it’s something I’ve perceived with my sight
Or sometimes it’s something I’ve heard or said
Sometimes even something I myself have read
No, I never quite know what’s going to appear
Although more often than not, the story to tell is quite near
