Hit or miss,
Your words pack a punch.
No matter where it lands,
Your love knocks me out.
How can I keep doing this?
Listening to words that change sound,
But not meaning:
"I love you, but I'm scared."
"I want you, but I'm bad at forever."
Tell me when you got so good
At semantics.
Tell me when you got so good
At keeping me around,
At keeping me down,
At keeping things that should never have been
Yours.
