Do you remember that day?
Only 7 years have passed
Where were you when it happened?
Do you remember that vicious attack?

Were you with you're family
Holding tight to those you love
Watching with horror and pain
As the plane fell from above?

Were you singing in a playing?
Or learning in a class?
Were you reading in a library?
Did you hold a stranger fast?

Or were you actually there
Scurrying on the ground?
Did you hear the sickening crash
And look up to the sound?

Or did you just stand there
And wander what's happened?
Or maybe you're a soldier
Saluting to your captain?

Did you gasp in fright
When you saw the other plane?
Did you break down crying
For the people they had slain?

Were you trying to run away
When the towers finally went down?
Were you one of the people
That were trapped underground?

Were you lost in the dust
That covered the streets?
Did you fall back in your bed
Hiding under the sheets?

And what about the children
Who lost their dear parents?
Or how about the people
With injures untransparent?

Did you finally go to chruch
And whisper a shaky prayer?
Did you hug someone close
To show them you care?

Can you try to recall
What happened that day?
Where were you at?
Were you someplace far away?

And please don't forget
The brave ones on the planes
Do you know what they went through?
Can you know their pain?

Do you ever think and wonder
How those innocense felt?
They knew they would die
They wished they would melt

They shall never be forgotten
Though their lives are lost
We lived in perfect bliss
And now we've paid the cost

Do you remember that day?
Only 7 years have passed
Where were you when it happened?
Do you remember that vicious attack?

Do you remember............?

This is for all who died on the terrible day. Please take a moment of silence for them.
