Day one-- i met you with my eyes
You hardly knew me, what a surprise
Still firm, you stood there right by my side
A glance, a stare nowhere to hide
Stronger and stronger this beating grew
Magic inside built up from you
The truth came out sure and slow
Your response-- a single no
Aware or not you're still the one
I promise you i'm never done
Though maybe in your concious mind
You'll slow and steady begin to find
That looking back upon us two
Day one was when--
I loved you
