Two Leaves

Two leaves left on a branch to flutter
A wind races in, their existence is shuttered
To dance with the breeze is what we see
For them, that is their destiny
Two lives hanging on a balance not well measured
Neither one meant to seek pleasure
Worthlessness is a common noun
That echoes for eternity and beats in their ears a sound
Fly, fly with gust that comes like love
Be peaceful as you float, in harmony and with peace like a dove
Go, go now and forever be forgot
Drift away and for each other be sought
