I'm lying here, awake again.
But yet this dream, it never ends.

It's like a trance, a nightmare the same.
If this goes on, I'll go insane.

It hurts to think, and realize.
Then think again, and wonder why.

Why I'll never, be good enough for you.
Or why you do, the things you do.

Why I'm so scared, to finally tell you.
Just come right out, tell you the truth.

To tell you how I feel Inside.
Confess my love, no longer hide.

What would you say? What would you do?
Would I be, the one you choose?

Would you laugh? Or walk away?
I wish I knew, what you would say.

But our friendship, I cannot risk it.
If I lost that, I couldn't take it.

So now I shall, just lay in pain.
With nothing lost, yet nothing gained.

And so I wait, for that day to come.
Because I know, that your the one.

So for now, eyes closed I wait.
What happens now, is up to fate.

All I can do, is wait in sorrow.
Always hoping, for tomorrow.

Tomorrow when, you know it's real.
You know you feel, just like I feel.

That day I know, may never come.
But if it does, you'll be the one.

'Til then I wait, I'll wait in shame.
With nothing lost, yet nothing gained.

Always I'll wait, I'll wait the same.
With nothing lost, yet nothing gained.

True love comes, with risk of pain.
If your scared to lose, you'll never gain.
