This how the world ends,
Not with a bang but with a whimper.
--T.S. Eliot "The Hollow Men"

Why is it that in the summer the days are longer?
Why is it that during the winter night never ends?
Why is it that under the cloak of darkness we see where our true loyalty lies?
How is it that the bird never sings the same song twice?
Why is it that in the spring the cherry blossoms dance but in the fall they wither away... awaiting their death?

The seasons answer everything.
Spring, life starts anew.
Summer, hard life turns away from fate.
Fall, everything stops in fear of winter.
Winter, death comes calling.

every soul dies in their own cold and dark white cloaked winter... waiting for the life of spring to come calling.

I don't really know why or what inspired me to write this. All I was hoping was that people would realize what the seasons do for us and how they affect our lives.
