The "Be Norma" Debate
They state
“Be Normal”
We proclaim
“Define Normal”
They try and announce
“The same as the rest”
We open their eyes and minds
Once we declare that
“Look around we all vary and don’t
want to play follow the leader”
They try and reply
But are speechless
We explode our point
“Normal can’t be defined”
“Normal changes from people to people
or place to place like a dialect”
“Normal is unattainable”
“There is no direct origin for Normal”
“There isn’t and never will be a
NORMAL”
They sit in awe
We STAND in VICTORY

my point of “what is NORMAL really?” everyone says
you need to be more normal. But I just can’t comprehend
a “normal” person that everyone will agree is “normal”!!
We all have different opinions on the word. And this poem
shows mine.
