The jocks, the preps, the Goths, the nerds
The groups, the cliques
Nameless faces, unknown masses

Defined by appearances
“Oh! He has a football. He’s a jock.”
“Oh! She has a designer shirt. She’s a prep.”
“Oh! He has all black clothes. He’s a goth.”
“Oh! She has her nose in a book, She’s a nerd.”

Unknown and misunderstood
Open your eyes and don’t just see the masses
Open your eyes and see faces
People with names and emotions

Each face has its own problems, joys, sorrows and loves
Each face has a story
Above all each face is human

We are all human
Next time when you see someone, look at them as a human
Not a jock, prep, goth, or nerd.

The author's comments:
We are all human, so let's look at everyone as a human and not by labels.

The poem means people should stop labeling other people or having sterotypes of people. Becuase in the end you don't really know a person until you've talked to them.

Kewa, I don't quite get the idea that you exactly pass.
