I feel like a leaf on a tree
desperately clinging,
then I'm falling

I fell like a bush,
my main branch falls
and rolls away

I feel like an apple,
something is missing

my best friend,
she left me

The author's comments:

One of my best friends moved away awhile ago and I hardly get to see her. She was my inspiration. Also, the line "I feel like an apple, something is missing" may not be clear as to what it is symbolizing. It is symbolising when you take a bite out of it it now has a piece missing.
