smouldering words

If words can burn then my lips should be charred,
cuz' they jump out my lips and burn like the stars.
And if silence is golden, then what have we here?
... words have caused but a million gold tears!
They build up like cities and grow old over years,
they burn like the sun and melt hearts into tears.
Words of the bible, words of a book...
words they can change if you just take a look.
