the stars are dark

sit low
and cry fast
slow down i'm waiting for you
dance inside your own feet
as the sun is replaced
with the stars you carry
they're waiting for you
the tears turn into oceans
and the life that you loved
floated away
to the ends of the earth
where you're too far from,
you're too slow
hiding away
and you say
you used to love this place
too much
you broke the stars you had
now your sky is darkened
with the sun that hides
it's seen better days
and so have you.
