Peace is a thing that doesn't need changing
though it is constructed peice by peice
from grace and love and beauty and justice
and unity and forgiveness and trust and hope

it's the result from loving each other
it's the sum of all that we hope for
it's the world without hate and injustice
it's the person who forgives without end

for everyone who wants to, can
and everyone who needs to, will
and everyone who lives to, does
create the peace that heals the world

yes it was true when i said this
