The Lion

August 26, 2008
By Bryce Anderson, Pleasant Plains, IL

All was silent.
The gentle breeze hit the tall grass.
The sound of the grass hitting each other.
The light flickered on.

A lion tiptoed quietly through the tall grass
As if it were trying to hunt.
In less a second the lion was gone.
The light went off.

The silence was gone.
The sound of a rabbit hopping away
In the grass.
The light flickered on.

No sound of pain.
Simply death
The light Flickered off.

The sound of the lion disappear.
The sound of the bunny getting
Dragged through the tall grass.
The light went off.
