You, Me and Love
Love,
Just another word stated to those who we are close to,
Never really knowing what it means until it leaves our sides.
A passionate feeling which warms and soothes the heart all at the same time,
But yet still burns and crashes down on you when it’s least expected.
It’s full of surprises, endearment, and tension,
Which encourages you to figure out who you are and what your purpose is.
It allows you to push yourself past negative measures,
And indulge positive thoughts, feelings and actions.
You,
Just another boy who expressed these feelings,
One who believed in success and achievement.
Someone who is so strong with a great mentality,
But yet still emotionally weak and out of place.
Me,
Just another girl who allowed herself to believe those feelings,
Someone who learned to adore herself for who she was.
Another person who was torn apart while waiting for her chance,
And when that chance was given… it was taken away.
