manipulate my life

August 18, 2008
By Leslie Leon, Little Neck, NY

alone, without anyone who understands
and yet all these demands
everyone wants you to be
but if you dare disagree
and say they are not right
at least try and be polite
because they hate it when you speak out
they want you to go through life with out a doubt

to let them manipulate you life
listen never talk
let them pull the strings
walk when they say walk
and all that will bring
happiness and joy
but not to you
thats what they enjoy
your pain and humiliation

at night you may cry
they are your parents there suppose to love
and yet you can only imagen goodbye
maybe then the goodness of your life shall start
