Confession

August 19, 2008
By Anonymous

Turned around to face my lies of the past,
I looked in the mirror to see what you have created,
Taking a bat I'm smashing my image,
It's nothing of what I wanted to see,
If I could reach threw time id release your hand,
And the visual of whom you wanted me to be,
Stuck in this internal hell, of man vs. man,
You locked the door, trapping me of my reality,
Keeping me from my potential,
Placing a mask over the face I was born with
I am a statue of your artistic mind,
Nothing of who I should be.

I do not hate my life. I do not regreat my past, i learn from it. And with that i believe i grow strong every min of my hardships and or failures.

Great poem! Gives the image of empowerment and not accepting others' control over yo! Way to go, kid!
