The Rain of Mankind
In the night rain falls
 Shattering stained glass windows
 Clattering on roof tiles
 Steaming in the fac’try smoke
 Above gleaming skyscrapers

 Nature feels no touch
No treetops does the rain reach
 The green leaves do wilt
 The rain is poisonous ash
Killing all in its dark path

 Man-made metal bone
Like knives slashing through the sky
 Decimating trees
 Destroying all with iron
 With fire colder than ice

 The fire dies down
 All nature is now silent
 The ash has settled
Black as coal upon the ground
No more golden trees will grow
